Listen. I went here to get hot chocolate because I saw it on social media. I'm not ashamed (okay, maybe just a little) but, as Edith Piaf says- je ne regrette rien. The beautiful silver pot came with two cups of chocolate, and of course a huge goblet of whipped cream. I probably should have gotten something savory, or at least a croissant - but I also got a kouign amman since we were about to leave Paris and I hadn't gotten one yet. It was the most buttery, sugary, caramelized, delicious pastry I've ever had in my life. I couldn't even finish it and definitely committed a faux pas by walking away with half of it in my pocket- but it was a perfect snack that afternoon. I've never felt such a sugar rush and immediate crash as I have that day- and I'd do it all again. If you're on the French about a 12€ cup of hot chocolate- please just do it and never look back!

Great hot chocolate and biscuits. The hot chocolate was very rich. One order of the hot chocolate was enough for three people. The service was good and accommodating. The interiors were very nice. I recommend this plac

Of course we came here to try their hot chocolate, as it was right down the street from our airbnb. We got two hot chocolates, a crepe and a croissant. Hot chocolate was very nice especially with the cream so the chocolate flavor is not too strong. The croissant and crepe were nice. The food was expensive but that's what you get when you go somewhere that's trending. If I remember correctly, it was $12 for one hot chocolate but you get a pitcher with more hot chocolate so it's not just one cup at that price. Was definitely worth it though. The service was alright, we sat there a while waiting for the waitress. After we got our order in we got our drinks and food quick. The ambiance was nice, you sit pretty close to people but that's typical in European countries. The street wasn't too busy (~9am) and not too many people walking on the sidewalk.

Went for brunch and they exceeded my expectations. I had the brunch fixed menu which included a hot drink, fresh juice, pastry, toast, scrambled eggs, and a roll. So lots of bread, but if you're in Paris, do as the Parisians! I had the cappuccino, pain au chocolat, and grapefruit juice for my choices. The pain au chocolat was divine, cappuccino perfect, and the scrambled eggs were rich, creamy, so good! Also, the portion was so large you could really share this between 2 people and order another cappuccino. I kept thinking about this meal all day. So, I took my husband the next day for lunch. He had the Entrecôte angus (steak), fries, and green beans. I had Filet de bar ( fish) with veggies and a pesto sauce. The portions are huge and price very reasonable. Everything seasoned well and cooked well. For dessert, we had the Saint honoré, a mini Pate Chou. So so good! Crispy caramel, light puff, light cream. I want this dessert again. We also ordered macarons which were good, but were slightly on the crispy side- could be chewier. Overall, I would go back if I had more time in Paris. If you pure looking for nice casual ambiance, courteous service, reasonable prices, large portions, delicious food, this is the place.
